Participating Sites

Over 1600 members of the general public were recruited through 20 GP practices across England. Eligible 65-84  year olds were invited to enroll in the trial with a view that each site would achieve a recruitment target of 80 participants. We collaborated with the Clinical Research Networks to facilitate recruitment at our sites and the result of our combined efforts was a 17% average recruitment rate, a marked increase on our anticipated rate of 9%.
